生まれてはじめて見た映画は，4，5才の頃，母と行った 第1次大戦の映画だ。私は， ドィッ軍の戦車力突進して来たとたんに泣き出し，僅か2，3分で劇場から連れ出された。 劇場の暗がりと画面を埋める戦車がどんなにショツクだったかは，そのかソトを今でも覚えていることでわかって項けよう。2，3分見ただけなのに，第1次大戦の映画と断言出来るのは，それくらい当時の記憶力群烈だからである。40数年前のショックが消そうとして消せない記憶 になって残っている。
